Look closely at those handprints. Notice anything strange? They belong to the legendarily awesome screenwriter, director and entertainer Mel Brooks. He’s been so good at making people laugh for so many years now that, when presented with the (long-overdue) honor of leaving his hand and footprints outside the famous TCL Chinese Theatre along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he donned a prosthetic pinky to immortalize himself with an 11-finger handprint.
The fake finger is so convincing that we didn’t spot it right away, even though it’s exactly what we were looking for. The ceremony coincided with the 40th anniversary of Young Frankenstein, one of the most awesomely funny movies ever made.
